General Notes: Husband - Scott Marshall

He lived in the neighborhood of Clarksburg, Pennsylvania, all his life, long before there was any town. He was in the War of 1812 and also in the Civil War, having enlisted and joined the body of men who went to Ohio to check John Morgan in his raid through that state; but this last service was too much for his strength and he soon afterward died.

He was a business man of considerable note, but his chief occupation was farming.

General Notes: Wife - Jane McClure

She was born at Newport town, on Black-lick, near its junction with the Conemaugh.
