General Notes: Husband - John C. Russell


He learned the carpenter trade when a young man, with Thomas Travis, of Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He worked at his trade for many years and then turned his attention chiefly to farming. During the war of the rebellion he enlisted in Co. K. 155th Reg. Pa. Vol. Inf., and served for three years. He was promoted to corporal January 1, 1865. After his marriage they removed to a farm which he had previously purchased, where they made their home for many years.


General Notes: Wife - Anna Eliza Marshall


She came to Armstrong County Pennsylvania, with her parents when about 12 years of age. The remainder of her single life she spent near where the village of Bryan is now located.
