General Notes: Husband - John C. Hudson

He attended public schools until fifteen years of age, then began working at the carpenter's trade with different builders until master of his trade. In 1901 he began contracting, his first contract being the private residence of James Bell, of Greensburg. He continued contracting for three years, then was otherwise engaged until 1909, when he again entered the field, and erected many residences in Greensburg, employing a considerable force of mechanics. In addition to his work for others he has built several residences, which, when placed on the market, found a ready sale.
He was a Republican in politics, and a member of the First Lutheran Church.
