General Notes: Husband - Abraham R. Marsh

---

He was born in Rahway, New Jersey, where he was reared and educated. He learned the shoemaking trade and worked at it and also engaged in merchandising, both in his native state and subsequently in Ohio.
He was a Presbyterian of the old Knox faith and for many years was an elder in the church. He saw the formation of the Republican party and became a strong supporter of the same.
