General Notes: Husband - Jacob Snyder


In youth he learned the carpenter trade, serv­ing four years with Jacob Dry as an apprentice. He worked at his trade on the Old Manor and Brush Creek churches. He pursued the occu­pation of carpenter for thirty years. In 1831 he settled on what was known as the Moore tract of land, situated in Franklin, one mile and a half west of the village that became known as Delmont. He and his wife were both members of the Reformed church.

She died of consumption, aged thirty-seven years.
