General Notes: Husband - Robert Mahon


He was a blacksmith. He lived a short time in Green Village, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; in 1844 he came to the village of Scotland.
In politics he was a Democrat until 1844, when he supported Henry Clay for the presidency, and was afterward an old line Whig until the organization of the Republican party, which he joined. He served as justice of the peace for nearly thirty years. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
