She was educated in the public schools of Tidioute and in the high school at Beaver, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and of the Gen-eral Joseph Warren Chapter, No. 950, Daughters of the American Revolution, organized February 23, 1911, at Warren, Pennsylvania.
