General Notes: Husband - Hugh McKee


He was born in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and coming with his parents to Westmoreland County, was there reared and educated. After marriage, he and his wife resided on the home place until 1837, when they moved to Washington County, and in 1842 bought 150 acres of the "Dixon place," and sold fifty acres.
In politics he was actively identified with the Democratic party, and in religion he and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church.
