Mrs. Doris Bailey Bell, 101, mother of a Sligo man, died Sunday night at the Home for Aged Protestant Women in Wilkinsburg, where she had resided for the past 18 years.
Born August 28, 1876, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Amanda Fowles Bailey.
She was married to George A. Bell, who preceded her in death in 1956.
Mrs. Bell was well known in the Emlenton area where she had lived for many years and taught school. She was a member of the Mulberry United Presbyterian Church of Wilkensburg.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas N. Bell of Murraysville and Rev. Boyd A. Bell of Sligo; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Clarke of Reedfield, Maine; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The David R. Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Wilkinsburg is in charge of arrangements.
Interment will be in the Emlenton Cemetery.
