• Additional Image. The two women in this photograph appear to be Elizabeth (Lusher) Collins and her sister, Inas (Lusher) Wilson. They were daughters of Harry Lusher's brother Jonathan Miles Lusher, who left Pennsylvania and moved to Michigan. The sisters were known to have made a roadtrip back to Pennsylvania to visit family at some time. This photograph may have been taken at that time.

General Notes: Husband - Harry Grant Lusher


He and his brother/nephew Rex lived together, bachelor farmers, for many years in Rockland Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania. There appears to be no marker for him in the Rockland cemetery, but cemetery records indicate that he was buried in the same plot as his parents.
He lost a leg to diabetes.

Harry Grant Lusher.
Harry Grant Lusher, aged 76, a life long resident of Rockland, died in Oil City Hospital at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. He had been a patient in the hospital since July 16.
Mr. Lusher was born in Rockland on Jan. 15, 1871, the son of George and Charity Jacobs Lusher and had spent his entire life there. He is survived by one brother, Rex, with whom he made his home.
The body was taken to the Steffee Funeral Home where it will remain. At 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon the remains will be taken to the Rockland Methodist Church and funeral services will be conducted there at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Rockland Cemetery.

Harry G. Lusher
Funeral services for Harry Grant Lusher, of Rockland, were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Rockland Methodist Church with Rev. B. C. Himes and Rev. H. F. Potter officiating.
Interment was in the Rockland cemetery with the following as pallbearers: W. H. Beck, W. H. Bell, K. B. Randolph, Clair Kepple, H. T. Potter and Glenn Nichols.
