Moores Junction
The community was shocked to hear of the sudden death of George Lusher. He was brought from Kalamazoo to the home of his parents here. The funeral will be held Tuesday.

Standish
--George Lusher, who died at Kalamazoo Saturday, was buried from the Moores Junction school house Tuesday afternoon. He had resided in this county, until about eight years ago. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his loss, two small sons, his parents, three sisters and three brothers.--

Former Sterling Man Dead
George W. Lusher, 35, died of tuberculosis Saturday, May 14, at Pine Crest Sanatorium, Oshtemo, six miles from Kalamazoo. Burial took place at Sterling the following Tuesday. Elder Matt Umphrey of Bentley officiating. Interment was made in the Sterling cemetery.
Mr. Lusher was taken sick six months ago. After three months' illness he was removed to the sanatorium. He was seemingly on his way to recovery when he was taken with a sudden relapse May 13 and died the following morning at 6:30.
He had made his home for the past 10 years in Flint, where he was a polisher and buffer for General Motors Co. most of the time. One year he worked for the Western Union and another on a large dairy farm near Flint.
It was March 22, 1916, that he was married to Amy Watkins. To this union four boys were born, two of whom have died. His wife and children, Arthur 6 and Duane 3, parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Lusher, Sterling; three brothers and three sisters survive him.

GREEN, Aimee (Lusher) - Age 92, died Wednesday, June 13, 1990 at Riverbend Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, June 16, 1990, at the Brown Funeral Home, Rev. Douglas Moore officiating. Interment will be at Flint Memorial Park. Family will be at the funeral home 2-5 and 7-9PM on Friday. Mrs. Green was born in Arenac County, MI, March 31, 1898, and was a life long resident of Flint. She was a member of the Richfield Rd. Baptist Church, the UAW Local #651, and a past member of the Highlanders, she was employed at AC for 27 years, retiring in 1960. Surviving are: son, Duane and wife Peggy Lusher, of Flint; granddaughter, Carol Kettler of Grand Blanc; 3 great-grandchildren, Gary Lusher, Shelly Lusher, and Amy Lusher, all of Kissimmee, Florida; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Kristy and Jennifer of Kissimmee, Florida. She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur M. Lusher in 1968, a grandson, Gary Lusher in 1978, her first husband, George Lusher, in 1927, and her second husband Royal Green, in 1968.
