He and his brother, David, purchased the homestead rights of the heirs of the estate which consisted of some three hundred and ten acres, also the mill site, upon which stood both the grist mill and a flax mill and saw mill, which depended upon the little Shenango river for its water power. Later, David purchased the interest of Henry, and the latter moved to Illinois.
