General Notes: Husband - Thomas Raygor

He gave his entire attention to agricultural pursuits all his life. At the age of eighteen years he removed to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and in 1887 purchased a farm situated in East Hunting-don township, about a mile west of Alverton. This farm comprised about one hundred and ninety acres. On it he made extensive improvements, and in 1887 remodeled and improved the splendid brick residence, which was one of the finest in the county. In addition to his agricultural pursuits Mr. Raygor was interested in the coal industry. He owned a mine, which he operated himself, and retailed coal to customers in Scottdale. He was a member of the Church of God at Alverton.
