General Notes: Husband - Jerry Long

He was reared on a farm where he spent the early part of his life. He afterwards made a specialty of stock-growing, in which he dealt quite extensively in the West, and succeeded in accumulating a handsome fortune, being at the time of his death, the owner of 1,300 acres of well-improved land in Greene County, Pennsylvania, and extensive stock interests in the West.
