General Notes: Husband - Rev. Thomas Dale Logan


He was the sixth of a family of seven children, and received his early education in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where his father carried on mercantile business. He graduated at Lafayette College in 1869, and in 1874 graduated at the theological seminary at Allegheny, Pennsylvania, received his license to preach in the Presbyterian Church in 1873, and was regularly ordained in 1875. Previous to his entrance upon the ministerial sphere he taught school one year. Beginning in 1874 he was pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church of Meadville.
