General Notes: Husband - George L. Line

---

He married and they settled on the family homestead, which was purchased, in 1778, by George Line, his grandfather, from Gen. John Armstrong, and was then in the possession of the family for four generations. The old mansion residence, built of stone, was erected by Gen. Armstrong, in 1768, and was still being occupied. Here Mr. and Mrs. George L. Line resided until their death.

He was colonel of a regiment in the old State militia.
