General Notes: Husband - Charles W. Limbert

He left school at the age of fifteen, going then to Sharpsville, PA, where for two years he was employed at one of the local furnaces. He then ventured into the Indiana oil fields, remaining there for two years or until he met with an accident which necessitated his return to his home in Sheakleyville. Soon afterward he bought the livery business of M. Thomas, and two years later purchased the hotel which he renamed and greatly improved and which was later known as the Exchange Hotel. He was an active Republican and served for one term as a member of the village council. In religion he was an ardent member of the Methodist church. [HMC 1909, 1035]
