General Notes: Husband - Peter Miller

He emigrated to America in 1847, landing at New Orleans, Louisiana, on Christmas Day, and came right on to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and later to Allegheny, where he worked for a time as a blacksmith. He then bought a farm of 114 acres, in Lancaster Township, Butler County, which was later owned by his son Peter.
