General Notes: Husband - John Early Wolfe

He was born in Madison township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and was but one week old when his parents moved to a place in Washington township where he ever after had his home. He assisted his parents and after his father's death remained home to help his mother, eventually taking charge of the family property, part of which he came to own. It was located midway between Rimerton and Montgomeryville. He improved it in many ways, making it thoroughly up-to-date, and had a particularly fine orchard, making a specialty of fruit growing in his agricultural operations. He was very active in township affairs, and held several important offices, serving as township treasurer, supervisor and school director. Politically he was a Republican. His religious connection was with the Lutheran Church, with which the family was long associated, he and his wife belonging to St. Mark's Church.

Notes: Marriage

They were married Dec. 4, 1872. [HAC 1914, 900]
