General Notes: Husband - Jay Gove Lawson

He attended the common schools at Ligonier, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, until he attained the age of twenty years, after which he turned his attention to mastering the trade of plasterer, at which he became an expert. He then took up his abode in Greensburg and entered the employ of Parch and Allison, with whom he remained up to the time of his death. He was accidentally killed by being run over by a fast mail train.
