General Notes: Husband - Robert Lackey

He was a native of Scotland, but for years a resident of Port Hope in Canada West.

He was a linen weaver like his father, and immigrated to Canada with his wife and children when his daughter Elizabeth was nine years old. While at sea his wife became sick and died. The family settled in Canada, but he remained only a few years, and then returned to Scotland.
