General Notes: Husband - James Walker

He was a native of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and a millwright. He was also a miller for a number of years; he subsequently bought a farm, and spent the remainder of his life in agricultural pursuits. He filled various township offices, having served as school director, and also for many years as assessor. He was a Republican. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and a trustee of the congregation.
