General Notes: Husband - William Rupert

He was the owner of the land on which Shippenville Furnace (Clarion County, PA) was afterwards erected. After his death, his grandson, Jacob Black, inherited the property.

William Rupert, who had come to Canoe Riffle with the Blacks, bought the farms later owned by John R. Black and Charles Fisher, from Huidekoper, in April, 1815. The property was afterwards transferred to William Black, who cleared part of it and made some improvements.

He died when forty-one years old.
