General Notes: Husband - Benjamin Koon

He was a resident of New Jersey at the time of the Revolutionary war and was an expert iron worker and made swords for Washington’s army. He was sick in bed when Washington’s army retreated, and the English burned all his buildings except his house, and threatened his life. His wife stood by the bedside and told them that if they killed her husband that some of them would surely die.
