General Notes: Husband - Milton Knarr

He received a common-school education, and his business career began in 1890 as a partner with his father in the Bear Brewery at Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. After two years he sold out, and returning to Troutville was engaged in the hotel business until March, 1896, when he started upon an extensive trip which included all of the western states and Canada. After his return, in the autumn of 1896, he lived at home with his parents.
