Lloyd S. Klingler
Lloyd S. Klingler, 95, of Knox died at 5:45 am Saturday in the Franklin Regional Medi­cal Center following a brief illness.
Born March 17, 1895, in Salem Township, Clarion County, he was a son of John Henry and Rachel Exley Klin­gler.
He was married October 16, 1934, to the former Eula Switz­er. She preceded him in death February 4, 1985.
Mr. Klingler owned and op­erated an auto repair business, the Main Street Garage, in Knox until his retirement.
A veteran of World War 1, Mr. Klingler served in the 56th Pioneer Infantry with the Army Occupation Forces in Germany. He participated in the Battle of the Argonne Forest.
Mr. Klingler was a 70-year member of the Berlin-Bowser American Legion Post in Knox.
He was inducted into the U.S. Voters Hall of Fame for having voted for more than 50 years.
Mr. Klingler was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Knox RD 2.
He was an avid gardener.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Klingler and Ruby Cobler, both of Knox,
and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death in addition to his wife and parents were a sister, Minnie Weeter, and six brothers, Lawrence, William, George, Oley, Wylie and Harry Klingler.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today in the William N. Rupert Mortu­ary in Knox.
Funeral services will be con­ducted at 1 pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Rev. R. Dawson Tornes, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in St. Paul Union Cemetery.

Eula A. Klingler
Eula A. Klingler, of Main Street, Knox, died Monday morning at her residence.
Born May 17, 1902, in Beaver Township, Clarion County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma Exley Switz­er.
On October 16, 1934, she mar­ried the former Lloyd S. (Dave) Klingler, who survives.
Mrs. Klingler was a home­maker and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She also served as financial secretary for many years at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ameri­can Legion of Knox.
Mrs. Klingler was well-known in the Knox area for her oil paintings and needlework.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruby Kobler of Knox; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rell and Stanley Switz­er.
Friends may call after 2 pm today at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, Main Street, Knox. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm today at the funeral home.
Friends will be received at St. Paul Lutheran Church from noon until 2 pm Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the church with Rev. Dean Tyson, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Paul Union Cemetery
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
