Charles R. Snyder.
Charles R. Snyder, aged 57 years, died suddenly at his home on Kenneth street, Bleakley Hill, Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, of heart disease from which he had suffered for several years.
His death was unexpected, however, as he had been at work as recently as Friday of last week. He was sitting in a chair and talking to his brother when his final and fatal illness over took him.
Mr. Snyder was born on November 12, 1871, at Brandon's Ferry. He attended the Congress Hill school. He was married to Miss Ida May Kiskadden, of Franklin, on September 26, 1889.
Surviving him are his widow and the following children: Mrs. Charles Houser, of Sandycreek township; Ray Harold Snyder and Roy Snyder, of Franklin; Mrs. Arthur Griffiths, of St. Louis; Kenneth Snyder and Mrs. William Wetjen, of Franklin, and Earl Snyder, at home.
Mr. Snyder had been employed as machinist at the Eclipse for the past nine years. He was a member of the Rocky Grove Presbyterian church.
The funeral is to be private and to Mite place at the residence at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Friends may call up to Wednesday noon.
