General Notes: Husband - Franklin Peter King

He was one of the representative and prominent business men of Richland township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, and for twenty years or more was actively identified with the oil interests of that section of the state. His business took him all over Venango and Clarion counties, where he became widely and favorably known. Besides the five good oil wells on his own place in Richland township, he also owned and operated wells in Venango County, and with his brothers, G. W. and J. H., he was interested with the same business in Butler County, buying and leasing oil lands, sinking wells, and later selling them.
