General Notes: Husband - Henry Keyser


He became a prosperous farmer and prominent citizen. He was particularly interested in the cause of education, serving a number of years as school director and for twenty-two years filling the office of secretary of the board. For six years he was director of the poor of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. His political principles were those of the Democratic party, and he was a member of the Lutheran church.
