General Notes: Husband - Absalom Baird Ashbrook


After marriage he and his wife made their home in Buffalo township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, up to 1884, when they moved to the borough of Washington, there to pass their declining years.

He received his education in Buffalo township, and was there married. They continued to reside on the home farm until 1872, when they moved to Washington borough.
In politics he was a Democrat, and he was a warm supporter of the Presbyterian Church at East Buffalo. [CBRWC, 1121]
