General Notes: Husband - David Kelly
He lived in Westmoreland County, PA, for a time, and worked on the canal some years. In 1833, he bought a farm near Martinsburg (Blair County?), PA.
He was born in Parker township, Butler county, PA, and grew to maturity upon his father's farm. For some years he and his wife kept a hotel at New Alexander, and at Bairdstown, but removed to Butler county in 1833, and located near Bruin. He was quite a prominent citizen of that township, served seventeen years as a justice of the peace and held a colonel's commission in the militia.
