General Notes: Husband - Pliny Kelley


He read law with Judge White and was admitted to the bar in 1843. In 1849 he started for California, and when last heard from was with Sheridan on the frontier.

He served in the Mexican war, and served as captain of a California company under Sheridan in the Civil war.
