General Notes: Husband - Clarence Willson McElhaney


After graduating, A. B., from Thiel College, he entered the medical department of Western Reserve University, from which he received the degree of M. D., and he then engaged in the practice of his profession in Greenville, Pennsylvania. He was a Republican, and served as a member of the Medical Reserve during the first World War. He held membership in several fraternal organizations. In the Masonic order he was affiliated with all the principal bodies, a Knights Templar, and possessed of thirty-two degrees, a Shriner. He was also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and Knights of Pythias. A member of the Presbyterian Church, he was associated with the various medical societies, among which may be mentioned the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania State Medical Association, Mercer County Medical Association, and Ameriican College of Surgeons, and he was also a member of the Greenville Country Club and the Rotary Club.
