General Notes: Husband - Baptist Happer


He was born on the home farm in Union township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. He married and remained on the homestead all his life. He was a prosperous agriculturist, and an extensive stock dealer. Politically he was a supporter of the principles embodied in the Whig party.
