General Notes: Husband - Solomon Diefenderfer


He was a butcher and farmer in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, until coming to Greenville, Mercer County, in the spring of 1850. There he was extensively engaged in the buying and selling of horses and cattle and also did butchering and farming. He was a member of the German Reformed church, and a Whig in his political affiliations. He and his wife had eleven children; only four of which were still living in 1909.
