The Trees Mill was erected by Levi Trees in 1853, Mr. Trees having come to Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, in that year. It was situated on Blacklegs creek, was forty feet square, three stories in height and had three run of burs. The dam was nine feet in height. The power was regular and the mill had constant work and a large area of tributary territory.
