He was chief engineer of gas pumps for the United Natural Gas Company and was accidentally killed at Strong Station, Venango County, PA, in the performance of his duties. He was a Mason, belonging to Petrolia Lodge, F. & A. M., and Venango Lodge of Perfection at Oil City.
