General Notes: Husband - Michael Jack

He served a short time in the Revolutionary war at its close.
He came to Harris township, Centre County, with his brother-in-law, Alexander Dunlap, from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, about the year 1789, and purchased land of Reuben Haines. In 1791 he built a grist-mill a mile or so east of the site of Boalsburg, near what was later McFarlane Mill. He also carried on a distillery. He had twelve children, two of whom were born in Lancaster County.
