General Notes: Husband - William E. Moore


He was brought up at Summerville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, and received a common school education. Having begun work as a lumberman, he was interested in lumber in Elk County, Pennsylvania, and also in West Virginia. In 1898 he came to Clarion, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, where he then lived, and owned a residence on Seventh avenue. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons. While Mr. Moore never aspired to public office, he was a supporter of the Republican party. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
