General Notes: Husband - John Irwin

---

He migrated from Cherrytree, Venango County, Pennsylvania, in 1856, to Peoria, Illinois, lived there a few years, and for the benefit of his family moved to Galesburg, "the city of schools," where most of his children graduated from Knox College. He was always interested in the church, and was an elder for over half a century, devoted to the church and education.
