General Notes: Husband - John Newton Work

He attended school until he was about fourteen years of age and then went to work in the woods where he continued until he was twenty-one. He then turned his attention to railroading and from May, 1893, was connected with the Pennsylvania system. This was his main business for many years but, with his brother, he also gave some attention to the home farm.
