General Notes: Husband - Banks Clayton McAlister

From 1892-97 he was a merchant at McAlisterville, Pennsylvania, and was postmaster during President Cleveland's second term. From 1897 to 1900 he lived at Montoursville, Lycoming County. During this time he was president of the Montoursville Passenger Railway Co., and also of the Montoursville Electric Light Co. He was later farming at the homestead in Juniata County.
