General Notes: Husband - Brice Innis, M.D.


He received a good education, studied medicine at Philadelphia, and was in the beginning of a successful practice when the war of the Revolution broke out. He was commissioned a hospital surgeon in the Continental service, took ill during the cantonment at Valley Forge in December, 1777, returned home and died.
