General Notes: Husband - James Reed

---

He was educated in the schools in Pittsburgh and in the Western University. He then went to Rensselaer Polytechnic School in Troy, New York, where he graduated and took up the profession of Civil Engineer with the Pennsylvania Railroad Company. He rapidly worked up until he held the position of Division Superintendent with that company. He resigned that position and later became Chief Engineer to the Pressed Steel Car Co. In January, 1906, he caught a severe cold which rapidly developed into pneumonia and on January 10th, 1906, at his apartments in Bellevue, he died.
