General Notes: Husband - Thomas Limber

He was an early settler of Mercer County, Pennsylvania. He located in Otter Creek Township and cleared a farm from the wilderness and lived there till his death.

Some land (on which Minard Freeland would later reside) in the Little Shenango Valley, Salem township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, was donated to Sarah, the daughter of Lieutenant William Hueston, who died at West Point, from a wound received in the service of his country. Miss Hueston subsequently married Thomas Limber, of Center County, who settled on the 200 acres which his wife had inherited, in 1799, and, in 1800, moved there with his family, and built one of the first hewed log-buildings in the township.
