General Notes: Husband - George S. Hunter


He was reared in Tionesta, Pennsylvania, where he resided until his death, and was extensively engaged in lumbering, milling and general merchandise business. He developed consider­able oil territory in Forest County, and for many years was the owner of the ferry between Tionesta and the depot, and was the projector and builder of a substantial bridge across the Allegheny river at that point.
