General Notes: Husband - David Hunter

After his father's death, his mother made her home with a Miss Craig, her sister, until the Revolu­tionary War. David and his brother Robert went into the war, but Andrew being only nineteen, this relative would not let him go, but he ran off and entered the service anyway, and for this act of theirs all three were disinherited by their aunt. After the war the three brothers returned to Dauphin County.
