Clymer, NY - Lee A. Hunink, 71, of Clymer-Sherman Road, Clymer, NY, died Friday Morning at his residence. Born in Clymer on Dec 21, 1906, he was the son of Albert and Mary Cady Hunink. He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of the Clymer area his entire life. He was a member of the Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church for over 50 years, and held several different offices in the church. He and his wife, Ethel, celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on June 16, 1977. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Prindle Hunink; a son, Russell Hunink, Clymer; and five grandchildren, Wendy, Cheryl, Valerie, Darrell and David Hunink, all of Clymer. Friends may call at the Spitzer Funeral Home in Clymer, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 3:30 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend services there on Monday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Leo Hanson, former pastor of the Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church, and Rev. John Lyga, the current pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Holland Cemetery, Clymer. The family requests that memorials be made to the memorial fund of Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church.

Ethel L. Hunink, Clymer, NY - Ethel L. Hunink, 74, of Clymer-Sherman Road, Clymer, died Monday at Corry Memorial Hospital. She was born in French Creek Twp., NY, a daughter of Myron and Ida Newhouse Prindle. Mrs. Hunink was a member of Edwards Chapel of the United Methodist Church, the Missionary Society and the Golden Agers of the church. Her husband, Lee A. Hunink, died in 1978. Survivors include a son, Russell Hunink of Clymer; a brother, William Prindle of Erie; and five grandchildren. Friends may call at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Clymer, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend a service there Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at Holland Cemetery in Clymer. Memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund of Edwards Chapel.
