General Notes: Husband - David Watts Hulings


He studied law and was admitted to the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania bar April 21, 1823. He became the possessor of the old family homestead, but afterwards disposed of it and purchased largely near Lewistown. He bought Hope Furnace, which he greatly improved. He represented Mifflin County in the legislature. Subsequently he removed to Baltimore, Maryland, where he died.
