General Notes: Husband - Robert Cooper Howell


He was born on the Howell homestead farm in Elizabeth township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, his birth place being the original log house, occupied by the family prior to the erection of the more substantial brick residence. He was a farmer all his life, inheriting one hundred and twenty-two acres of the homestead farm, on which he lived and died. He was a Republican in politics, served as road supervisor, and both he and his wife were members of the Presbyterian church.
